Dr. Otto Huber has offered to host the 2001 meeting in Caracas, Venezuela, in conjunction with the founding and first meeting of the "Centro Latinoamericano de Cartografia Vegetal y Corologia 'Alexander von Humbolt'." It is likely that the meeting will be scheduled for early August, 2001 and that a 3-4-day field trip will be planned for immediately before or after the meeting. More details to follow.
