Free Teacher Open House, Wednesday, September 26, 4-6 p.m. Children’s Education at the Garden provides innovative, hands-on professional development opportunities for science educators. Our current programs for teachers include the following:
1. Professional Development Workshops Learn how to use the Botanical Garden as an extension of your classroom. Providing content and guidance to teachers, including:
- Classroom activities
- Discussion points
- Reproducible curriculum
Individual sessions or 10-part series. Saturday and school-break sessions available.

Our staff will work with you to design a program, such as:
- The Basics of Botany
- Introduction to the Forest
- Nature for Early Learners
