Darwin’s Garden: An Evolutionary Adventure Get Your Tickets Through July 20 Explore the untold story of Charles Darwin's botanical influences, his research, and his contribution to our understanding of plants through his original manuscripts, field notebooks, plant collections, and other historical documents in the LuEsther T. Mertz Library gallery. In the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, kids can board a replica of HMS Beagle, the ship on which Darwin voyaged to South America and around the world. Around the Garden grounds take an "Evolutionary Tour" of living plants that demonstrate key points on the Tree of Life, which links all living beings through a common ancestry. Moore in America: Monumental Sculpture at The New York Botanical Garden Get Your Tickets May 24–November 2, 2008 Internationally acclaimed sculptor Henry Moore drew inspiration from nature. This landmark presentation of his monumental works will be the largest outdoor installation of Henry Moore sculpture in one location in the United States. Related special events and activities for adults and children will be held Garden–wide throughout the duration of the exhibition.
