Manager of Board Relations (Individual Giving - Position Application Number: D-1408):
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Individual Giving, the Manager of Board Relations is a key player in a team responsible for all annual fundraising efforts specific to the Board, Board of Advisors, Honorary Board, and Distinguished Counselors. Specific duties of the position include, but are not limited to, the preparation, research and writing of proposals; presentations; reports; solicitations; pledge reminders; and acknowledgments. (S)he will actively manage a specific Board member portfolio, and will coordinate with the Board Relations and Individual Giving teams to ensure the highest level of cultivation and stewardship of the full complement of Board members.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of Development experience, preferably in Individual Giving.
· Excellent oral and written communication skills.
· Must be comfortable with financial data and able to track projections, pledges, and all contributed gifts.
· Must be a detail-oriented, highly organized, self motivated-team player, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Must be able to think strategically and interact with all levels of staff, volunteers, donors, and the public.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Raiser’s Edge 7.
