Coordinator of Teen Programs (Children's Education - Position Application Number: E-0015):

Summary of Responsibilities:

The Coordinator of Teen Programs, with the Manager of the Everett Children's Adventure Garden, will provide leadership for and supervision of the Explainer program. She/He will supervise educational facilities in the absence of the facility manager, as necessary. Supervise Explainers at other Garden educational facilities, as necessary. Develop and plan curricula for other teen programs on the Garden grounds. Collaborate with other education staff to train educators of other teen programs. Assist in the coordination and production of marketing materials. Oversee appropriate budgets and monthly ledgers. Assist the Children’s and Public Education managers with relevant duties as needed.

Requirements:

·                  BA in Science, Education, or related field.

·                  Demonstrated ability in overseeing teen programs in informal settings.

·                  Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·                  Team player, creative, organized, and interpersonal skills.

·                  Must be flexible to work weekends.
