Helpful Hints

Photography is permitted (except for commercial use); however, tripods, monopods, and art easels are NOT permitted in the Conservatory.

Strollers are permitted throughout the Garden but are not permitted in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory or in the Discovery Center at the Everett Children's Adventure Garden. Stroller parking places are designated in both areas.

Smoking is prohibited: in all buildings; in the Forest; in the Everett Children's Adventure Garden, the Ruth Rea Howell Family Garden, and the Rock and Native Plant Gardens; in the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory courtyards; and on the public Tram Tour and all other Garden tour vehicles. We ask that visitors do not smoke in the outdoor portions of the cafes or when participating in a public walking tour. Smoking is permitted in all other outdoor areas.

Recreational sports, including skating, ball playing, cycling, etc., are not permitted.

Pets are not allowed. (Sight-enabling guide dogs/animals are permitted.)

Do not pick flowers or climb trees.

Deposit trash in designated receptacles.
