The New York Botanical Garden will host one of the most enchanting events of the winter season, The Orchid Dinner, at The Plaza Hotel on Thursday, February 27, 2025.
Known for its unique and carefully curated displays of floral artistry, The Orchid Dinner will celebrate NYBG’s beloved The Orchid Show, which is inspired by the work of Pritzker Prize-winning architect Luis Barragan (1902–1988) and celebrates the home of one of the most diverse populations of native orchids in the wild—Mexico. Guests are invited to enjoy cocktails and a sale of exceptional and rare orchids carefully selected by NYBG’s curators followed by an elegant dinner and dancing.
Proceeds from The Orchid Dinner support NYBG’s commitment to using our expertise and collections to amplify the role of plants in solving the climate and biodiversity crises—leading the way toward a better future for all.
