About the Speaker
Dr. Eric Sanderson is the Vice President for Urban Conservation and Director of the Center for Conservation and Restoration Ecology at NYBG. He has worked in the conservation field for 25 years. He is the best-selling author of Mannahatta: A Natural History of New York City, author of Terra Nova: The New World After Oil, Cars, and Suburbs, and editor of three other books. He has published over 65 papers / technical reports and has been cited more than 15,000 times in scientific literature.
