About the Speaker
Wambui Ippolito is a horticulturist and graduate of NYBG’s School of Professional Horticulture. She teaches at leading botanical institutions and develops programs for museums, gardens, and parks exploring the broader context of horticulture, focusing on the intersections between history, culture, and science. Wambui is the principal designer of her own New York-based landscape design firm, specializing in estate and penthouse gardens, native plants, and modern tropical design.
