This week we’re taking a peek into the archives of the LuEsther T. Mertz Library for #ColorOurCollections, a yearly event where we invite kids and adults alike to add their personal touches to our botanical illustrations.

Discover the past four years’ coloring books from NYBG using the buttons below, including illustrations of tropical plants, flowers of all sorts, and even scenes like this one that you can print out at home and liven up with crayons, markers, or colored pencils. You can also find more information on the many other institutions taking part in the event here. And feel free to share your creations on social by including the #ColorOurCollections hashtag!
