Bronx Food & Farm Tour: South Bronx Walking Tour

Celebrate the world-famous South Bronx during Bronx Week 2022. This historic area is not just known for Hip Hop and the New York Yankees; it’s also home to some of the most edible green spaces in NYC. Come visit three longtime community gardens and farms that have been essential to their surrounding communities, featuring fresh food, sustainable gardening practices—including rainwater harvesting and composting—and providing seasonal community events for all. Join us in celebrating all things Bronx and take part in hands-on activities at La Finca del Sur, enjoy a healthy garden tasting at Brook Park, and finish at Padre Plaza Community Garden.
