As you sip your wine, relax or dance to the original sounds of some of the newest artists on the scene.
MIA JAE (@miajae)
Mia Jae is a new school woman with an old school soul, describing her music as moody R&B with an edge. Born and bred in Harlem, the neo-soul songstress has been singing for as long as she’s been able to talk, and received classical and musical theater training from local New York powerhouses throughout her upbringing. In a world where everything is moving so fast and we are all rushing through the motions—Mia Jae wants to give you music that makes you stop and feel.
JEWELRY (@jewelrymusic)
JEWELRY is a Brooklyn based lo-fi, indie rock, bedroom pop group led by Ryan Laetari and featuring members of Tilden, Di Ivories, as well as Salt Marsh. They have been releasing singles along the east coast, and playing locally in Brooklyn and Manhattan since 2021.
The Living Roomers
Wide-eyed and longing, New York-via-Los Angeles quartet The Living Roomers present an unflinching amalgam of intense, cathartic rock. Always passionate, and at times profane, the Roomers walk the line between vulnerable and menacing. Sun-baked stinging guitars lead plenty of carefree, windows-down departures.
Josephine Network (@josephinenetwork)
Josephine Network is an NYC band fronted by multifaceted singer/songwriter Josephine. Her music is a fluid mix of power pop and glam rock, with touches of twang (“No One’s Rose”) and AM Gold (“Music is Easy”). Her sensitive yet playful songwriting is often imbued with theatricality. The Network’s hook-heavy, harmony-laden rock has led them to tour with notable acts such as Shannon and the Clams and The Lemon Twigs. The 8-piece ensemble is both sonically and visually stimulating. The newest singles, “Static Walls” and “Valerie,” maintain JN’s signature sweetness with a dose of hard rock power that signals what’s to come.
