Bronx Green-Up Pruning Certificate Course

Saturdays, January 28 & February 4 • 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

This Pruning Certificate course teaches participants how to improve a garden space with proper pruning techniques. Focusing on pruning small trees and shrubs with a full class devoted to fruit bearing trees.

To receive a pruning certificate, you must:

1. Attend four virtual classes on Thursday evenings (January 26, February 2, 9, & 16; 6–8 p.m.);
2. Attend two in-person lessons (January 28 & February 4; 11 a.m.–1 p.m.);
3. Complete four hours of pruning practice at a community garden with Bronx Green-Up (dates and location to be determined).

Pre-registration is required; please full out the application below. Priority will be given to Bronx community gardeners, but others are welcome if space allows.
