A Belated Present: Thomas and Friends at the NYBG

Holiday Train ShowThe holidays have come and gone, you’re well into your New Year’s recovery, and most of the kids are trudging back to school. But if you’ve still got little ones at home, you don’t have to feel trapped with them (it can be understandably harrowing). The New York Botanical Garden’s Holiday Train Show is still up and running through January 16, and as of this week we begin our two-week run of All Aboard with Thomas and Friends™.

Rather than holing up at home trying to entertain your children as they wreak all manner of havoc on your sanity, come enjoy the belated gift of distraction and sit them down for one of our many mini-performances. Thomas the Tank Engine™ and Driver Sam will need the audience’s help making the trip from station to station, so getting into the act is more than welcome. Bring your camera and you’ll even get a photo op’ afterward. And when the performance is over, there’s plenty more to see in the Conservatory, with the Holiday Train Show now in its 20th year and still New York’s favorite winter tradition.

There’s no harm in pointing their boundless energy toward something they love–bring the kids for a little escapism.

Visit our ticket page for Holiday Train Show reservation information. Train Show tickets packaged with the Thomas the Tank Engine™ mini-performance are available, running from January 2 through January 16.
