Morning Eye Candy: First Come, First Served

They’re back! Maybe a little early, but we can never find a reason to complain about snowdrops. Look for them in the Perennial Garden and elsewhere on your walks around the NYBG–they’ll be the cutest blooms around, if you ask Ann.

inspired this nice verse. Enjoy!)
SNOWDROP TIME
‘It’s rather dark in the Earth to-day,’
Said one little bulb to his brother,
But I thought I felt a sunbeam say,
‘We must grow till we find the way!’
And they nestled close to each other.
They struggled and toiled, by day and night
Till two little snowdrops, in green and white
Rose out of the darkness and into the light
And softly kissed oneanother.
