Very enchanting, beautiful plant. H. aspera which looks very much like H. macrophylla is common in northern and eastern Himalayas between 1500 to 2500 m. Cultivated as an ornamental.
This is a beautiful flower, sporting the most beautiful shade of blue. Never had heard about it before , googled about it and found, to my surprise, is native to China and Japan. I would be surprised if the two governments had not declared its national flower.
