One step into the magical world of the Holiday Train Show should convince you of its heartwarming magic. It is a delight for children of all ages! Bar Car Nights are an adults-only way to see the Holiday Train Show at night, when the lights are twinkling and the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory‘s domes are aglow, cocktail in hand.

And this year, due to the overwhelming popularity of these delightful evenings, we are offering more Bar Car Nights than ever! Bar Car Nights are the perfect date night, or, come as a group and celebrate the season as a unique alternative to a more formal holiday party! Bring your friends, your adult children, or just come as a couple and enjoy a festive evening out. Bar Car Nights are the perfect way to indulge in the spirit of the holidays as an adult!

Your ticket includes one complimentary cocktail designed exclusively for the Holiday Train Show, as well as dining discounts at restaurants in the Bronx, Westchester, and Manhattan. If you prefer to nibble while you sip, our exciting new, limited-run, Holiday Dining Pavilion: “Streets of New York” offers stations highlighting New York City’s iconic fare. A professional photographer is on hand at each evening event to capture a beautiful holiday memory. As an added bonus, ice carvers from Okamoto Studios will be transforming huge blocks of ice into beautiful sculptures in the Conservatory Courtyard.

Bar Car Nights always sell out, so be sure to buy your tickets as soon as you can. Getting to the Garden is easy when you take Metro-North Rail Road from Grand Central Terminal or points north. You will disembark at Botanical Garden Station, just across the street from our Mosholu Gate entrance. From there, the walk to the Conservatory is just a short stroll through our beautiful landscape.
