Example 5. Photographs (from FN Monograph 70: 21). To the right is a scanned image of the original photos submitted to the printer. Note that there is no space between the individual photos (separation lines will be added by the printer) and that the identifying letters are placed inside the photographs. If possible, scale bars should be included within the photograph so that reduction of the photograph during printing will not alter the magnification.
