Filoboletus gracilis (Klotzsch ex Berk.) Singer

This agaric is fairly widespread in the Neotropics outside of ectotrophic forests. It grows on dead wood, is fairly brittle with a gelatinous context and resembles a Mycena in stature. The hymenophore is formed of very fine pores typically visible only with a lens.
