Children’s Education

Young minds grow at NYBG—and families are welcome! Each year, over 300,000 kids, parents, and teachers take part in our Children’s Education program, discovering the beauty and diversity of plants, their cultural significance throughout the world, and their importance to life on Earth. See how the Garden is inspiring future green thumbs all year round, and plan your next family outing in New York City’s most exciting greenspace.

School Programs

Over 90,000 school kids a year in grades K–8 take part in NYBG programs, joining us from public and charter schools throughout our City and region. See how we’re ensuring students grow up with a love of nature!
