Tickets are NOW on sale for The Orchid Show: Mexican Modernism, and before you know it you’ll be exploring a tropical paradise—without leaving the Bronx. 🌺🌴

Starting February 15, the fusion of tradition and contemporary artistry takes center stage as you wander through awe-inspiring displays of orchids, and the bright settings inspired by the bold, multicolored designs of Mexican modernist architect Luis Barragán. After dark, come back for Orchid Nights—which the @nytimes calls “the lushest bar in town!” With the vibrant beats of cumbia sonidera dance parties featuring DJ @hellotones "El hijo de PueblaYork", professional dancers including @coolmarx, and drinks and bites for purchase, these outings on the dance floor for the 21+ crowd bring the nightlife of Mexico City right here to the Garden. The Holiday Train Show is OPEN today for the last day of the year, and we'll be open Wednesday, January 1 for you to ring in 2025 in style with an afternoon spent in NYC's most beautiful 250 acres. Bring the family or just yourself to explore nearly 200 model New York landmarks brought to life with more than two dozen model trains—indoors and out.

Just when you think you'll have to wait until spring to see flowers outdoors again, the witch-hazels pop up to say hello. 👋🌼

We're just starting to see these flowering trees bloom for the winter, and you'll be able to spot them showing off in various places throughout the Garden until March. Keep an eye out for their splashes of color!
