The Art of Planting Bulbs | Jacqueline van der Kloet
Renowned naturalistic garden designer, Jacqueline van der Kloet, has mastered a casual, magical technique where bulbs emerge playfully among other plants, as if dancing freely among the perennials and grasses, creating a painterly scene. Van der Kloet has been commissioned to assist in the planting design of some of the most prestigious public gardens in the world—from Holland’s famous Keukenhof to the New York Botanical Garden’s Seasonal Walk. Get a peek inside Van der Kloet’s own garden, De Theetuin in Weesp (The Netherlands), which serves as a testing ground for her planting experiments and a place that feeds her lifelong addiction to spring flowering bulbs.
