Big Sweater is a local NYC band whose rock music integrates elements of funk, electronic, prog and more. They released their debut album, Blush, in 2018, followed by two more singles, (“Step On Through,” “Down The Line”) and are currently finishing production on their second album, (Don’t) Make Believe. “The coziest band in all the land.”
1:30 p.m. – Low Roller
Low Roller is the musical enterprise of Veronica Davila. Based in Brooklyn, Veronica and her band aim to capture the carefree and rebellious spirit of classic Western Americana. Low Roller invokes clever storytelling, warm harmonies, and spirited guitar melodies, echoing the traditions of the Laurel Canyon Scene, Bakersfield Sound, and Outlaw Country. With a touch of lyrical grit and a lively ensemble playing, Low Roller keeps the neon glow of Cosmic Country burning bright in the heart of the urban frontier.
2:30 p.m. – DD Island
DD Island is a Brooklyn-based folk-rock band led by songwriter Brandon Rhodes with Jeremy Batt, Zach Lichtman, and Andrew Strader. Established in 2022, the band combines elements from ’60s folk-rock and more modern psych. Their performances capture sincerity, catharsis, and healing growth through each song.
3:30 p.m. – Dropper
Introspective, upbeat, and comfortably situated in familiar melancholy, Dropper combines classic indie rock with melodic, psychedelic vibes that leave you wanting more for the ride home. With the ear-catching vocal and songwriting skills of multi-instrumentalist Andrea Scanniello at the forefront, Dropper’s musical prowess is furthered by the contributions of bassist Yukary Moroshima and drummer Jono Bernstein, bringing together a group of seasoned collaborators from the NYC music scene.
