Green Thumb Family Event at Edible Academy

In celebration of Member Appreciation Week and your first year of Membership, we’re inviting you to join us for a morning of hands-on fun at the Edible Academy!

Children will get their hands dirty and learn about the importance of healthy eating while they explore and help care for the Edible Academy’s vegetables. Together the group will make and taste a delicious basil pesto and pot up basil seedlings to care for at home. Morning refreshments will be available.

This program is designed to be enjoyed by kids ages 4–12. Tram transportation will be provided to and from the Main Tram Stop.

Parking is free as part of Member Appreciation Week. Additional discounts include 30% off at NYBG Shop, 15% off dining, and up to 4 half-price tickets for guests (onsite only).

Space is limited. Advance sign-up required before August 5. Must be an active Member to attend.
