Advance purchase of timed-entry tickets recommended to guarantee admission; KUSAMA Garden & Gallery Pass tickets do sell out. Tickets are now available for visit dates through the end of the exhibition on October 31, 2021.

To see both indoor and outdoor installations, select a KUSAMA Garden & Gallery Pass ticket. Beginning September 1, valid proof of COVID-19 vaccination and ID will be required for this ticket type.
To see only outdoor installations across the grounds, select a KUSAMA Garden Pass ticket.
A separate ticket for interior access to Infinity Mirrored Room—Illusion Inside the Heart (2020) is required with the purchase of a KUSAMA Garden & Gallery Pass or KUSAMA Garden Pass. Tickets are highly limited and expected to sell out. Up to four people can enter the Infinity Mirrored Room at once. At this time, you will only be admitted into the Infinity Mirrored Room with members of your own party. For the safety of the artwork, no bags or other items are allowed inside the Infinity Mirrored Room; outdoor storage will be provided to temporarily stow your belongings.

Includes access to all KUSAMA: Cosmic Nature outdoor installations across the grounds and access to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, installations inside LuEsther T. Mertz Library Building and Ross Gallery, as well as interior access to Flower Obsession (2017/2021) obliteration greenhouse and Pumpkins Screaming About Love Beyond Infinity (2017) in the Visitor Center Gallery, plus the Tram Tour, and Garden features including the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden and outdoor collections.

Proof of residency is required. New York City Grounds-Only Admission is free all day on Wednesdays.

All tickets are non-transferable. Official KUSAMA Garden & Gallery Pass tickets can only be purchased in advance at nybg.org. KUSAMA Garden Pass tickets may also be available through approved third-party partners. Beware of buying tickets through unapproved third-party sellers, as they may not be authentic. If you purchase your tickets through an unauthorized source, NYBG will not be able to guarantee your entry.

Safety is Our Priority

Effective September 1, 2021:

In accordance with New York City Executive Order 225, all visitors ages 12 and older must show valid proof of vaccination against COVID-19 for entry to indoor exhibition spaces and facilities, and all dining venues.

Visitors over the age of 18 must also supply official identification displaying name and photo or date of birth.

Visitors who do not supply valid proof of vaccination and ID are only permitted entry to outdoor gardens and restrooms.
Children under the age of 12 who are accompanied by a vaccinated adult may enter indoor exhibition spaces and facilities, and all dining venues.
All visitors are required to wear face coverings indoors and in the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden and the Edible Academy.

NYBG continues to monitor CDC, state, and city guidelines.

Know Before You Go

Garden capacity and access. Garden capacity limits have been lifted and social distancing may not always be possible during your visit. Access to the Enid A. Haupt Conservatory, LuEsther T. Mertz Library Building, and the Tram Tour are available only to KUSAMA Garden & Gallery Pass ticketholders.

250 acres to explore. Enjoy seasonal highlights in the Chilton Azalea Garden, Native Plant Garden, Perennial Garden, Rockefeller Rose Garden, Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, Rock Garden, and most other outdoor collections and trails. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable attire for exploration.
Special events and exhibitions. KUSAMA: Cosmic Nature is on view through October 31, 2021. To see the exhibition, visitors will need to purchase a KUSAMA Garden & Gallery Pass or KUSAMA Garden Pass ticket in advance.
Tram Tour. The tram tour is available to KUSAMA Garden & Gallery Pass ticketholders only and Members.
