Enjoy the Perfect Pairing of Springtime Beauty & Local Wines
With the iconic backdrop of the LuEsther T. Mertz Library and its rows of tulip trees, this year’s Spring Uncorked is the perfect wine-lover’s afternoon, featuring local wineries from the Hudson Valley, Brooklyn, and Long Island. Sip samples, relax to live music, learn the science behind making great wines, and kick back with crafts and games. While you’re here, grab lunch for sale from a line-up of the region’s finest local food vendors.

Durieux
12:30 p.m.
Durieux is a Bronx-based band known for an idiosyncratic, yet moving, take on Alternative R&B/Soul. Led by singer and rhythm guitarist Bryan Durieux, the band originally began as a solo act. The blend of Bryan’s talent melded with soulful bass (Seth “Happy” Nicholson), groove centric drums (Danny Castro), and intricate guitar (Gannon Ferrell) is a sight to see. Bryan is a storyteller and a performer with lyrics written from the heart and based on experiences in life.
The Victory Seeds
1:30 p.m.
The Victory Seeds are a Cosmic Americana band from Ridgewood, Queens. Led by drummer and singer-songwriter Sophia Bondi, the band blends classic country arrangements with modern alt-rock and indie folk melodies to create a unique, timeless sound. The Victory Seeds released their first album in January of 2024, and are looking forward to the release of two upcoming singles and an EP in the spring and summer.
DD Island
2:30 p.m.
DD Island is a Brooklyn-based folk-rock band known for their genuine, cathartic performances and infectious energy. Their sound blends rock and folk with strong vocals and authentic songwriting. Check out their most recent release “Waiting for the day.” The band is gearing up for the release of a full-length album later this year, with more singles set to drop throughout the summer of 2025.
Old Lady
3:30 p.m.
Having been dubbed “the hardest working band in construction,” OLD LADY has spent over a decade playing in dance halls of the Mid-Atlantic and beyond. In a celebration of freedom and song, their music is a dance between the nightlife, and the sunup to sundown toil of the trades.
Lawn Games
Enjoy an assortment of games, including corn hole, giant jenga, giant connect four, and ring toss.
