Habitats (Under Construction) The Bog Brook Cove Preserve comprises 1,770 acres of diverse habitats including rocky headlands, beach strand, blueberry barrens, a pond, wet meadows, peatlands and others. The habitat classification used here follows the Maine Natural Areas Program (MNAP) Natural Landscapes of Maine: a guide to natural communities and ecosystems (Gawler & Cutko, 2010). The MNAP website also has a table of the 107 communities. |
