Plants as Liberation is a wide-ranging series of interviews, with herbalists, houseplant enthusiasts, farmers, and gardeners. Led by Arvolyn Hill, Family Programs Manager at the Everett Children’s Adventure Garden, hear from Black people in the plant world and learn how they are using plants as a powerful expression of liberation and freedom.
Rooted in Plants features NYBG’s Teen Explainers sharing plant connections and important people throughout history that have made an impact through discoveries, teaching, and activism.
