One of the BEST ways to see the Holiday Train Show is to hop aboard the @teaaroundtownnyc bus! ☕️🫖

On Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays through January 20, reserve a spot and catch the bus at Central Park South for a leisurely ride up to the Garden featuring delicious treats, teas of all sorts—and of course an appearance by Santa and an elf riding along. Once here, you’ll get to explore the Holiday Train Show and stop by NYBG Shop to cross some gifts off your list before the return trip.

Join us in the Haupt Conservatory to find the holiday kaleidoscope of your dreams! Our train conductors welcome you into a twinkling world of model trains, brought to life under a wash of vibrantly colored lights that you can explore throughout our entire glasshouse (even the rain forest and desert galleries). With live holiday tunes, festive photo ops, and seasonal treats and specialty cocktails for purchase, you’ll feel the magic of the holidays all night long.

As the trees drop their leaves and winter comes in for a landing, the Garden becomes even more of a birder's paradise. 🪶🌲

The bare branches make visiting and resident birds MUCH easier to spot as they go about their daily errands in the canopy. This is all to say: don't forget your binoculars if you've got 'em!
