If you’ve been to the Haupt Conservatory’s Aquatic House lately, your eyes do not deceive you—an Amorphophallus titanum is once again preparing to bloom at NYBG!

Having given us hints recently that it might produce a flower, the titan-arum bud is now over six feet tall and we expect it could bloom as soon as this Friday or Saturday. And this isn’t the plant’s first show, either; you may have seen this prolific titan-arum before if you visited for the 2016 or 2019 blooms.

We hope you’ll join us for this must-see event! Stay tuned as we track the bloom progress, and learn more about titan-arum blooms past and present at NYBG.
